Chris Longbottom is the RJW representative for the Northumbria Police Constabulary. Chris is an Assistant Solicitor in the Family Department based in our Manchester and Newcastle offices.
Chris deals exclusively with family work and areas of police representation including divorce, financial matters, police pensions and children issues. He is committed to reaching the best possible outcome for his clients and uses his negotiation skills and a non-confrontational approach where possible. Chris is, however, mindful that not all matters can be resolved by these methods and has the ability and resources to take the necessary action using the relevant court procedures.
Chris was ‘born and bred’ in West Yorkshire with most of his family living in that area. Having started his career as a Solicitor in Yorkshire, Chris has strong links with the area and has appeared in Courts all over the County. Chris is passionate about his roots and is very proud of having represented his town, Bradford and Yorkshire at Rugby League during his youth.
